A private, playful crush check

Calculate Your Crush Match

Add two different names and choose the situation that feels closest. The result stays lighthearted and cannot reveal another person’s feelings.

Letters, spaces, hyphens, and apostrophes; up to 50 characters.

Use a different name. Unicode names are welcome.

This adds a small, fixed adjustment and changes the guidance—not what the other person feels.

Names, status, and results may remain temporarily in this open tab. They are not uploaded, saved to browser storage, or added to the URL.

How the Crush Calculator Works

This crush calculator turns two names and one broad interaction status into a repeatable entertainment result. It compares shared letters, name length, character positions, and a stable browser-based hash. The selected status adds a small contextual adjustment, but it never replaces the name-based part of the calculation.

  1. 1

    Enter two different names

Use first names, nicknames, or other familiar names with supported Unicode letters, spaces, hyphens, and apostrophes.

  2. 2

    Choose a crush status

Pick the option that most closely matches how you currently interact. It changes the playful context, not anyone’s real feelings.

  3. 3

    Explore the result

See one overall score plus chemistry, connection, signs, and potential, then download or share only if you choose.

What the Crush Scores Mean

The overall score summarizes the four playful dimensions. Chemistry represents spark, Connection reflects how naturally the name signals fit together, Signs adds a light interpretation of the chosen status, and Potential imagines room for a respectful connection to grow.

A higher score does not prove mutual interest, and a lower score does not rule anything out. Real connection depends on honest conversation, mutual enthusiasm, comfort, and respect for boundaries.

Six playful result levels

0–19%
A Very Quiet Spark
20–39%
A Little Curiosity
40–59%
Something May Be Growing
60–74%
Strong Crush Energy
75–89%
The Signs Look Promising
90–100%
Serious Chemistry

Keep curiosity comfortable

A Conversation Starter, Not a Signal Detector

Use the result to laugh with a friend, compare a nickname, or enjoy a little curiosity. Do not use it to assume consent, pressure someone for an answer, follow them more closely, or ignore a clear boundary. A calculator has no access to another person’s thoughts.

The calculation runs locally in your browser. Your entries may remain temporarily in memory during the current open-tab session, but they are not written to browser storage, placed in the page address, or uploaded to an external calculation service.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the crush calculator accurate?

No. This is a deterministic entertainment game, not a scientific or psychological assessment. Its score cannot measure attraction, compatibility, or what may happen between two people.

Does the calculator know if my crush likes me?

No. A name-based calculator cannot know another person’s feelings. Only that person can communicate their interest, and any real interaction should respect their comfort and boundaries.

Are my names stored?

Names, status, and results are not saved to browser storage or uploaded. They may stay temporarily in memory while this tab remains open so you can move between tools without losing the result. Refreshing or closing the tab clears them.

Can I use nicknames?

Yes. You can use a nickname or familiar name containing Unicode letters, spaces, hyphens, or apostrophes. Different spellings may produce different results because the letters are part of the game.

Will reversing the names change the result?

No. Swapping the two names produces the same score and dimensions. Capitalization and extra spaces also do not change the result.

Is the result the same every time?

Yes. The same normalized names and crush status always produce the same result. The calculation does not use randomness, the current time, or device information.
